GEO Board of Directors
Global ENT Outreach (GEO) is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit corporation headquartered in Washington State. The work program of GEO is determined by our Board of Directors, developed and managed by the officers in our management team, and guided by recommendations from an Advisory Board made up of long-time supporters, not just of GEO, but of health and social justice for the poor. It is GEO's board that is the strength that guides us in what we do.

Dr. Danesi directs the Department of ENT and Microsurgery of the Skull Base at Ospedali Riuniti, Bergamo, Italy. He attended medical school and residency in Italy, followed by training at the Barrow Neurological Institute in the USA and as well trained under Ugo Fisch. Dr. Danesi is an internationally respected surgeon, lecturer, and director of the Skull Base Project in Italy. He has traveled to Honduras and also El Salvador with GEO.
Dr. Nazaneen Grant, MD received her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, attended the State University of NY at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed her ENT residency at Georgetown University Hospital, followed by a laryngology fellowship at Columbia University in NY. Dr. Grant is currently on the teaching faculty at Georgetown and she joined GEO in 2005 and has traveled to Ethiopia, Honduras, Peru, and Cuba.
Dr. Monfared, MD is currently a faculty member at Stanford University Department of Otolaryngology and is the Fellow in Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery at Stanford, where he as well attended medical school, graduating with the M.D. in 2001, and completing his residency as well. Since joining GEO in 2006 he has traveled to Ethiopia El Salvador, Peru, and American Samoa.
Dr. Wagner, MD is the founder of Global ENT Outreach and acting director. He graduated from University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, New York. Dr. Wagner has an extensive background in treating chronic ear diseases in the developing countries and travels extensively performing middle ear surgery for GEO.
Dr. Weingarten, MD received his medical education at Tulane University in Louisiana and residency at Northwestern in Chicago, Illinois. He has been an attending at Northwestern for numerous years and has a vast background of experience in treating chronic ear disease. He has traveled to Ecuador, Ethiopia, American Samoa, and El Salvador with GEO. In 2006 he was elected to the board and brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to GEO.
Dr. Eric P. Wilkinson, MD received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and attended Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Iowa in 2006. Following residency training, Dr. Wilkinson was a fellow at the House Ear Clinic- Institute and is an associate there today. His academic interests include acoustic neuroma, cochlear implantation, chronic ear disease, surgery of the lateral skull base, and stapes surgery. www.houseearclinic.com
