June 2009- In June GEO visited the Fundacion Vision in Asuncion, Paraguay. As reported in ABC.com.py, over 30 surgeries were performed during the visit to Paraguay at both public and private hospitals.

Ethiopian Educational training Program at NYEE Infirmary
Spearheaded by the changes in the political system in Ehthiopia, GEO fulfilled its committment to the ENT of the Yakatit Hospital in Addis Ababa by sending their two ENT the NYEE Infirmary to get advanced training in temporal bone surgery. At the University Catetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, GEO works with Peruvian ENT and instructs in surgery of the ear. Peru has a high incidence of ear disease and a great demand by the ENT to learn new techniques.

Speechless Children of Ethiopia
Eleven Ethiopian children suffering from laryngeal papilloma underwent a new techinique for the removal of the lesions and for their ultimate return home after years in the hospital.

Solidaridad Versus Otitis
Close to the carribean cost of Honduras, lies the city of San Pedro Sula home to over a million Hondurans and the center of the countries commerce. In coordination with Dr. Pazzetti, GEO assisted in the humanitarian care of patients at the seguro social hospital and public hospital. Advances in teaching were also made .
