The mission of African Ear Foundation (AEF) follows the commitment of Global ENT Outreach and its Ethiopian partner, the RAMA ENT Hospital in Adama, Ethiopia, to address the need for educating doctors from Africa in otology and simultaneously providing much needed ear surgical care to the underserved who lack access to surgical care.

      Through a coalition of dedicated international otologists from Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, and the USA, AEF seeks to build knowledge in the field of medical and surgical otologic training and to improve patient care. 

         AEF will serve as a central hub to the medical communities in the Horn of Africa and rest of the African continent. The new Bishoftu International Airport, just twenty five minutes north of AEF, will allow for easy access for those coming for training in the new temporal bone lab or much needed surgical care.
